The artist and photographer Henry Hargreaves has given new meaning to the concept of “fried electronics”.

Hargreaves’s latest project would have quite a few gadget geeks bursting into tears as he did what no man has done before…well on purpose that is.

The inventive photographer decided to deep-fry electronic gadgets and then take some oddly mouth-watering snaps of the results.

But not to worry, he isn’t one of those spoiled rich kids that has nothing better to do than ruining some great Apple products.

“I’m not rich enough to buy and destroy the electronics, nor did I want to find out what happens to a lithium battery when it goes in 400 degrees of oil,” he says. “So I recreated each product from foam core and we went to town.” He told ShortList Magazine.
