 1.          When and how did you get into modelling?

When I matriculated I spontaneously decided to venture into the unknown and move to Joburg without any idea of what I was going to do there. I always dreamt of being a model or actress and told people as I was growing up that one day they will see me on TV and in magazines.

Two months after moving to JHB, I signed with a modelling agency, and booked my first commercial a week later.

It’s been four years and many modelling jobs later and still going strong! I achieved everything I said I would.

2.          What are the biggest misperceptions that people have of models?

That they don’t eat! Every model I know including myself has a massive appetite. On set for shoots, us models are normally the ones who at lunch time serves thirds compared to the rest of the crew eating light meals and salads.

3.          Worst pick up line ever?

(This actually happened) “Excuse me, I would just like to tell you that you are absolutely gorgeous, you look just like my ex girlfriend”

4.          What do you look for in a guy?

I like gentlemen with an inner bad boy side. A witty, charming, intelligent guy with a great sense of humour does it for me. I believe laughter is the main ingredient to a happy life

So a funny guy has me weak at the knees.

5.          What puts you off?

Aggression. Some guys have egotistical issues and feel they need to prove how tough they are by starting fights with other guys or always getting involved in bar fights. To me that just shows that he will be aggressive in his relationship too. Wife beater alert!

6.          How do you handle all the attention you get from guys?

I just smile and wave. Haha. I find it very flattering to receive compliments from men, but there is a line between complimenting and just plain hassling and being annoying. When it gets to that point I either pretend I’m going to the bathroom and then I go stand somewhere else with my friends or  I start talking about my boyfriend (works like the best kind of mosquito repellent)

7.          What do you do to stay in shape?

I don’t really have a set routine. I follow people with personal trainers around at gym to get some work out ideas, I do pilates twice a week, I’m a member of the Nike running club and I enjoy the occasional mountain bike ride and race.

8.          Describe your perfect night out?

I’m pretty laid back. Nothing is better than having your closest friends over at your house for a dinner party, good food, good wine, great company.

I also LOVE to dance, so a big clubbing night out with the girls every once in a while doesn’t hurt.

9.          Worst date you’ve ever been on?

I can’t really say I have ever been on a bad date, my dates always turned into relationships. My friends however have told me some stories about men taking them to expensive restaurants and making them pay half the bill, or men who cannot stop talking about themselves, and their wealth. I am SO lucky to have not experienced that.

 10.       Dinner and a movie/Drinks and clubbing/Staying at home

Mostly dinner and movie, but love the occasional drinks and clubbing.

11.       Favourite movie?

Fun with Dick and Jane and Anchor Man. I’m addicted to comedy

12.       Favourite book?

50 Shades of Gray ….. Grrrrroarrrr

13.       Favourite car?

Range Rover

14.       Favourite food?

Everything that falls under the food category. Sushi, seafood, Italian, Portuguese, Greek, ….you name it. I love food.

15.       Obama or Romney?

Obama for sure! Romney’s an idiot

17.       Ever been part of the mile high club?

I’m still a mile high club virgin sadly… that stays between us.

Hmmm…. Dimmed lights
